Echo Canyon has stood at the top of 8 Mile Hill for over 30 years, and in that time we have evolved to become one of the finest rafting companies on the Arkansas River, while remaining true to our original intent: to share the beauty and excitement of the Arkansas River with visitors from all over the world. Our family-owned business is a labor of love. Owner Andy Neinas has been in the rafting industry since 1987. He also takes an active role in furthering tourism, recreation opportunities, and sustainable river usage in southern Colorado, and has held the following positions:

In addition, Andy has worked in a variety of fields, all affiliated with the commercial river industry, including wholesale, manufacturing and design of kayak and rafting equipment as the Sales Manager of Stohlquist WaterWare – one of the nation’s leading whitewater apparel manufacturers.
