People, and bighorn sheep, flock to this place for a reason. The Arkansas River loves to show off in Bighorn Sheep Canyon. It’s a playful, fun, ever-changing section of water that’s the perfect place to get your feet wet. Class III rapids are enough to get the adrenaline flowing without being too much, or too scary for kids (or adults).
We live for fun on the river and we know every twist and turn of the Arkansas River better than the tan lines on our arms. We’re pretty darn friendly, and some would say pretty darn funny. Our guides get to know you and your family so we can craft a trip that’s just right for you. Want to get extra-wet? You got it. Mom doesn’t like spinning in circles? We’ll only do a few, we promise.
It looks and feels like the middle of nowhere, and that’s the point. In reality we’re just a short drive from Colorado Springs, and minutes from Cañon City. Here, it’s easy to get off the grid and plug into nature’s call, then hop on Facetime to share your adventures when you’re done. And your journey doesn’t have to end when you climb out of the raft. Hang around a while and zipline, ride an ATV, or take a ride on the Royal Gorge Railway. Then take in a sunset and starlit sky from one of our luxury cabins or glamping tents.
