White Water Rafting Birthday Parties

Are you tired of the same old birthday parties? House parties, dinners out, and concerts are always a fun way to spend an evening…but there must be something more memorable that you can do to celebrate making it through another year!

If youā€™re looking for a fun, adventurous birthday party idea that all of your friends will enjoy, a rafting trip down the beautiful…and powerful…Arkansas River may be just what you need.

Read on to learn what you need to know to plan a birthday party youā€™ll relive for years to come.

When is Colorado Rafting Season?

Outfitters offer group rafting trips from mid-April through mid-September. The exact dates vary from one year to the next thanks to weather and water levels.

No matter when you come, youā€™ll find trips perfect for the beginner or those looking for a bit more of a challenge. If you want to come out when the water levels are at their highest and the rapids are at their most exciting, mid-May through mid-July tend to be the high water months.

How Old Do You Have to be to go Rafting in Colorado?

We recommend that kids are at least 4-6 years old to go rafting, but maturity and temperament also play a role. If youā€™re not sure if everyone if your group is ready, give us a call and weā€™ll help you decide.

You can even bring your grandparentsĀ on some of our trips. With a variety of trips designed for different age groups, there is a trip suited for you.
