spinner Rapid (Class III) - Bighorn sheep canyon

We could come up with a logical reason why we spin the raft around in circles for the entire length of the last rapid in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, but let’s face it, it’s just fun to spin! Spinner Rapid is a fairly gentle class III rapid at most flows, making it the perfect white water to see how fast we can get the raft spinning. 

With a spinning raft you never know who will get the splashes – sometimes its the front paddlers but just as often the raft guide sitting in the back of the raft gets doused by a big wave! Spinner is always a whimsical way to end a Bighorn Sheep Canyon trip.
