Get ready for an action-packed day of family fun and adventure! When you book a zip line and white water rafting package, you’ll get the very best scenery and excitement that Colorado has to offer! Meet us at our Canon City office (just minutes from the Royal Gorge) for a half-day white water rafting trip through 6 miles of the beautiful Arkansas River Valley. You’ll encounter class II-III rapids on your excursion, which are suitable for children as young as 6 years of age.
When you return from your trip, you’ll have time to relax and grab lunch at our restaurant, the 8 Mile Bar & Grill, where you can enjoy not only incredible views of the scenic Sangre de Cristo Mountains but also our signature burgers, a cold beverage, and even a sweet dessert. Afterwards, you’ll head to Manitou Springs for your zipline tour. Drive time between the activities is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. You’ll check into your zipline tour at our partner company, Adventures Out West, where you’ll receive a safety orientation and demonstration, then you’ll jump right into zipping through the air above the trees and foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
If you’d rather reverse the order of your Bighorn Sheep Canyon Rafting and Zip line trip (zip line in the morning and raft in the afternoon) we can make it happen! You’ll simply check in at Adventures Out West first thing in the morning and head down to our Cañon City rafting office after your zipline tour. Either way, you’ll have a fun-filled day – sure to please every member of your family or group – ahead of you.
