Bighorn Sheep Canyon offers just the right blend of mild to moderate excitement with miles of scenic beauty. As the name implies Bighorn Sheep populate this area extensively and are sometimes spotted along the banks of the river or along the rugged mountain-sides. Recommended minimum age 6 and minimum weight 50 pounds. All trips check in 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Family Float Trip

Enjoy a gentle six mile Family Float trip on the Arkansas River as we navigate class I and II whitewater past lush Cottonwood groves and rugged rocky bluffs. Intended for families with young children or those looking for a just a taste of whitewater rafting. Keep an eye out for Falcons, Eagles and a variety of other birdlife and wildlife in the dense foliage along this section of river known as Swallows Canyon.

Two exciting attractions in one fun and easy day! Combine a nine mile raft trip through the Arkansas River's Bighorn Sheep Canyon with an afternoon at the world’s highest suspension bridge; the Royal Gorge Bridge.

Family-class whitewater starts your day off with miles of scenery and a chance of spotting Bighorn Sheep grazing the banks of the river. Enjoy a delicious river-side buffet lunch at our private river landing before we return you to our office and your vehicle.
